HUGE HAPPENING!!
Zaliyah Jones, better know as just 'Z' just made the tremendously prestigious High School PGF All-American Team. Wow!! Only 40 players in the entire country make this team. These are the future Oklahoma's, UCLA's, Tennessee's, Florida's players on go on to these great schools. It is a long process to be selected. Players have to be nominated, a Bio must be written about every player nominated, and then a National vote takes place. Not easy. Must mention that two twenty player teams are divided into two 20-person teams and a nationally Live TV broadcast of the two teams playing each other happens on the week of the PGF tournament finals.
Definitely like to mention that Zaliyah is the second Power Surge Organization player to make a PGF All-American. Sofia made the All-America team twice i. 2023 and 2024. She is now an intregal of the current great UCLA Softball Team.
We are so Proud at Power Surge and hope we have many more High School PGF All-Americans waiting in the wings.
These gals hoping to get to the college World Series. Addison Duke at Ol Miss and Sofia Mujica UCLA.
And.......Another great Power Surge team qualifies for PGF Nationals, Power Surge Q 14u. Power Surge Q traveled all the way to Las Vegas and easily Qualified for Premier PGF Nationals.
Power Surge's young 12u 2013 team just keeps on keeping on. They are an 11u team that plays like a 12u older team. Just qualified for PGF Nationals rather easily. They will play Platinum at PGF Nationals.
Coach Terry runs an amazing camp.
Last Sunday our Power Surge teams were invited to Whittier College for the day to do a workout with Coach Terry.
Power Surge Hammond wins the 12u championship of the very tough Moneyball tournament 3-0 over Power Surge Muren. They also go home $1500 richer as they win the cash for 1st Place. We are very proud to have the top two teams in this prestigious tournament.
Congratulations to both Power Surge teams
